Joseph James Hope died unexpectedly on the 10th of September 2008. Son to Lorna elsie Hope and James (Jimmy) Hope. Brother to Val, Janet, Taffy, Steven, Barbara, Ronnie, Zena. Father to Chris, Joanne and Abbie, step father to Darren and grandfather to Declyn and chandler. Joe was a very friendly person which touched the lives of many people. He had a brilliant sense of humour. You could never be in a bad mood when Joe was around because he was always doing something to make you laugh, Joe spent his live struggling with an alcohol addiction, 2 weeks before his death he went into a detox unit to try and defeat his addiction. However he suffered from a fatal heart attack and was found dead in his bedroom. Joe lived in Crook most of his life with his parents at first also spent 4 and a half years living with his brother Ronnie which he was close to, then got his own place, Joe then moved to Darlington and then on to Newcastle which was where he passed away. Joe came back to Crook for his funeral and the hearse left from the estate which he spent many years of his life living on both with his parents and brother Ronnie which is what he requested, had a service at the salvation army at Crook followed by cremation at Durham crematorium, the wake was held at Lottys bar in Crook. Joe had a good send off. He will be greatly missed by all of his family. Especially his son Chris as him and Joe where extremely close throughout there lives. R.I.P Joe, hope you are at peace now with you Mam and Dad x x x
I choose this music as;
REM- Everybody hurts, This song was played at the crematorium it was Joe and his son Chris song that they both used to listen to together.
Frank Sinatra- I did it my way, Joe used to enjoy singing this song on karaoke.

DO YOU FEEL THE NEED TO TALK XXX
Do you ever sit in an empty room
do you appreciate an open bloom
do you smell it's sweet perfume
Do you feel the need to 'talk out loud'
but theres no one there to hear
do you hear a voice call out your name
so close up to your ear
Have you ever felt a sudden chill pas by
and the hair on your neck stands up
have you gone to pour a cup of tea
but someone's moved your cup
Do you believe in angels
do they make you smile
have you felt one on each shoulder
as you walk that long wiery mile
Do you know that all these things
are messages to you
do you believe that they exist
i'll tell you.....YES THEY DO

Footprints In The Sand x
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My child, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

"Give Me Peace" By Lea Dyer Snow
"Give Me Peace" By Lea Dyer Snow
Lord, in this hour I need you, more than words could ever tell.
I feel as if I'm stranded on shores between heaven and hell...
I know you haven't left me, yet my heart feels void of hope.
I feel as if I'm hanging on an old and thread worn rope...
I feel as if my hearts been torn from the breast from which it came.
And sunshine will no longer fill my life, only clouds of darkness and rain...
I know this will pass,
and you will be there to give me comfort and strength and hope.
But until then I can't help the feeling that I'm down to that last thread of rope...
If it breaks, you'll be there to catch me, and raise me back to my feet...
But for now my world is in turmoil, and the essence of life is not sweet...
Give me power to overcome my oppression, and let sunshine back on my face.
Let your spirit overwhelm my cold dark heart,
and let me bask in your warmth giving grace...
Give rest to my tempest of yearning, and faith to my sore lacking soul.
Let me again laugh with my family. Rescue me from this pit in Sheol.
With praise I do worship your blessings, with humility, I ask my release.
From this den of despair I ask mercy...show favour on me...give me peace.

Hugs From Heaven
by Charlotte Anselmo
When you feel a gentle breeze
Caress you when you sigh
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From a loved one way up high.
If a soft and tender raindrop
Lands upon your nose
They've added a small kiss
As fragile as a rose.
If a song you hear fills you
With a feeling of sweet love
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From someone special up above.
If you awaken in the morning
To a bluebird's chirping song
It's music sent from Heaven
To cheer you all day long.
If tiny little snowflakes
Land upon your face
It's a hug sent from Heaven
Trimmed with Angel lace.
So keep the joy in your heart
If you're lonely my dear friend
Hugs that are sent from Heaven
A broken heart will mend.

A Bend In The Road
♥ღ♥ When we feel we have nothing left to give
and we are sure that the song has ended,
When our day seems over and the shadows fall
and the darkness of night has descended,
Where can we go to find the strength
to valiantly keep on trying?
Where can we find the hand that will dry
the tears that the heart is crying?
There's but one place to go and that is to God,
and dropping all pretense and pride,
We can pour out our problems without restraint
and gain strength with Him at our side.
And together we stand at life's crossroads
and view what we think is the end.
But God has a much bigger vision,
and He tells us it's only a bend,
For the road goes on and is smoother,
and the pause in the song is a rest,
And the part that's unsung and unfinished
is the sweetest and richest and best.
So rest and relax and grow stronger
let go and let God share your load.
Your work is not finished or ended
you've just come to a bend in the road ♥ღ♥
